Story of a Couple Saved by FHA Housing Loans
Here is a story of a couple who were able to stop foreclosure through FHA housing loans. May this story be a guide for all those other couples and families who are in need of help from the financial crisis that threatens to take away one’s beloved home.
Mr. and Mrs. Sanders was a happy couple. Like any other young couple, they both dreamed of getting their own house. The two first thought about leaving Wisconsin and moving to Henderson Nevada in 2007. They finally did on April of that year as they closed the deal on a house that was perfect for the big family that they were both planning for. Mr. and Mrs. Sanders were already the proud parents of a young 3 year old boy and Mrs. Sander just got pregnant. Then the real estate market suddenly fell through the floor. The value of their house plummeted.
Mr. Sanders worked in an architectural firm. Business was doing well before all of this happened. Then his company started laying off people. He got terrified. Two people were laid of then three then four. It took some time but what he was dreading all that time suddenly came to pass. He finally got laid of. He was the tenth person to leave the firm. There were 14 of them there. The company really couldn’t afford any more employees since all building stopped because of the economic crisis.
By this time, the family was already going through so much. The couple constantly fought. It was a good thing that Mr. Sanders found another job but the pay was quite lower than his old salary. It definitely would not pay for all the expenses as well as the mortgage. They have already taken out their equity since they needed to pay for hospital fees and other medical expenses. It felt like their world was crumbling apart as the two thought of how their beloved home and their beloved dream of raising their family in the quiet suburban surrounding were shattered. So many worries came to mind. Where would they live now that their house would be taken away? They could not get another loan because their credit was hurt badly.
Then they learned about the new government bailout stimulus that affected the FHA housing loans. The first thing that Mr. Sanders did was to do a little internet research. He found out that FHA loans were perfect for them. FHA loans are government insured loans that are designed to give those with low income and less than perfect credit a fighting chance. The family was able to get refinancing because of the FHA program (the original loan was from the FHA) did not focus on their credit score nor on their current income. It saved their family from the horror of being homeless.
The FHA housing loans program can work for you too if you are in a similar situation as the one above. Getting an FHA mortgage today is also a good idea because the interest rates and down payment is significantly lower than traditional loans.
